Who’s running this show…
HEY! It’s me Amanda, Founder of The Barkday Planner!
I created this membership community after hearing your feedback, seeing the excitement at our events, and recognizing the need for a space where dog parents could truly connect! As someone who moved to Dallas without knowing anyone, I wanted to build a welcoming, inclusive group for dog parents like me—people who treat their fur-babies like family and want to share life’s best moment with them by their side + FIND YOUR PACK!
FUN FACTS: I’m a proud dog mom to 6 adorable pups, and while I looove a good birthday cake, I’m a pie over cake kinda gal on my special day! Can’t wait to get to know you and your fur-babies.

A So Fetch Pup Movie Night
Because on October 18th… we’re making fetch happen! Celebrate National Fetch Day in the fetch-est way possible — with your pup, pink vibes, and a little nod to Mean Girls! 💖🐾
📆 Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
🕒 Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
📍 Location: Start at TABC then Movie Night at Uptown Pup
Here’s the plan:
🍸 Cocktail Hour Kickoff – We’ll meet at the patio bar next door, TABC, where part of the patio is reserved. Sip a pink drink, snap a few pup-arazzi photos, and mingle with our pack! (Cocktail and Mocktail will be provided, 1 per membership)
🎬 Outdoor Movie Night at Uptown Pup – After happy hour, we’ll head next door to Uptown Pup for a cozy outdoor movie screening! Picture this: pink tennis balls scattered everywhere, bean bags and blankets for lounging, and your pups snuggled up while we enjoy the movie, Mean Girls!
🐶 BYOD (Bring Your Own Doggy Treats) – Treat your pup how you like! We’ll provide water for dogs + humans and some 🍿
✨ Dress Code: Pink is encouraged (for pups + people). The more fetch, the better!

Pumpkin Painting with Your Pup
Celebrate the season with your pup by joining us for an afternoon of fall fun and creativity! 🍂🐾
📆 Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
🕒 Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Uptown Pup – Outdoor Yard
Here’s what to expect:
🎨 Each member gets their own pumpkin to paint alongside their pup!
🐶 Paint your dog’s paw print, create a portrait of your pup, or design a masterpiece together — it’s all about fun and creativity.
🍂 Light refreshments will be served.
🛍️ Shop inside Uptown Pup with your exclusive DFW Dog Parent Membership discount.
🎁 Take home a little goodie bag filled with fall treats for your pup!
This is a laid-back fall celebration to enjoy the season, sip, paint, and let your dog inspire your pumpkin art. Whether you go spooky, silly, or sweet, it’s guaranteed to be a paw-some time! 🧡🍂

Absolutely! This community was designed for dog parents looking to meet new friends and find a place to belong with their furry besties. Many of our members are new to DFW and/or are looking to expand their social circle with like-minded DOG OBSESSED parents like you!

Our memberships are annual, so you’ll renew once per year to keep you access to perks, events, and the community exclusives. If you opt to do month to month payments, then this will remain the same as you renew for the upcoming year. We’ll always give you a heads-up before your renewal, so there are no surprises!

Great question! We aim to host a minimum of 12 events per year, ranging from dog-friendly outings to parent-only socials. Most of our gatherings welcome your pups, but we also offer a few experiences for us parents to unwind and connect! You’ll always know ahead of time if an event is designated for pups, parents, or both!

Yes and No! While members get priority registration and discounted rates, some of our events are open to the public. However, members get access to certain members-only gatherings that aren’t available to non-members. Plus, the members only annual event is as it states, members only!
